I recently stayed at Bagol Palace for a few days with my brother, and it was a fantastic experience. The room on the third floor was spacious and offered a beautiful view of Lake Pichola. The family who owns the hotel was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with useful information about local attractions and arranging transportation for us. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was a good size with hot water, and we even had access to a washing line on the rooftop terrace. it was a cozy and welcoming place to stay.

The location of this budget hotel is superb, with many great restaurants nearby and a stunning view of the lake. the rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and pillows. the bathroom has running hot water and is of a good size. the owners of the hotel are extremely helpful and even assist with train ticket reservations. there is a kitchen available to make tea, breakfast, and snacks.
The passage ways of the hotel are a bit dark and shabby, and the rooftop terrace can be a bit messy on one side.

Great value for the price. The room was clean and had all the necessary amenities, including a water heater in the bathroom. The location by the Pichola lake was perfect and the staff at Bagol Palace were kind and helpful, we could store our backpacks after check out and even helping us find our bus departure location.
The breakfast menu could be improved by offering a wider variety of options.

Despite being a budget-friendly option, this hotel exceeded our expectations in many ways. the value for money was incredible - we got so much for what we paid. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive. The rooms were thoroughly cleaned, especially the bathroom which was spotless. The huge bed provided a comfortable night's sleep that we really appreciated. Lastly, the location was perfect, right in the heart of the old town. We were within walking distance of the main sights and had stunning views of the lake from the rooftop terrace.
Everything about this hotel was okay, no major issues.
